Ross Welham / Co-owner
Ross joined Trimline in 2008 and has progressed through the business working in roles from virtually all the departments within Trimline including project management. Ross now oversees all operational functions of the business and also focuses on future direction and expansion.
Ross describes himself as a jack of all trades and master of none, however, he is passionate about continuous improvement and the long-term trajectory of Trimline.

Nick Farrell / Co-owner
Nick joined Trimline in 2021, purchasing the business alongside Ross. Nick looks after the finance and technology sides of the business, as well as business development.
Prior to Trimline Nick had built and managed a several businesses in the technology sector, and brings with him expertise in finance, business administration, commercial aspects, and technical knowledge.

David Marley / Commercial Director
Experienced Commercial Director with a demonstrated history of working across various sectors within the construction industry. Skilled in Contracts, Subcontracts Management, dispute resolution and avoidance, Interior fit out, Civils, Commercial and residential construction, Project Estimation, Feasibility Studies, and Cost Engineering. Strong Construction professional graduated from University of Ulster.
Adam Cooper / Technical Director
Adam joined Trimline in 2003 starting out as a bench joiner before gaining the experience to supervise our largest projects in a foreman role, and then moving into project management.
His vast technical knowledge means he is ideal for overseeing his estimating, draughting and manufacturing departments. Adam cares deeply about ensuring Trimline’s work is easy to install, compliant and long lasting.
Naomi Cooper / Projects Director
Naomi joined Trimline in 2011. She has spent most of her career working on-site and progressing to running some of Trimline’s larger contracts at ~£9m per vessel.
She is passionate about supporting her team of Project Managers and ensuring the training, tools and process are in place to make them and the company successful.
Owen Hamilton / Projects Director
Owen joined Trimline in 2009 and oversees all the supporting departments to the Project Management team. Owen worked in supporting roles in his early years in the company before becoming one of Trimline’s most experienced Project Managers.
His experience in knowing all the ingredients required to make a project successful makes him well suited for co-ordinating all the departments that support our teams onsite.
Andrew Taphouse / Project Support Director
Andrew joined Trimline in 2025 from his previous role as Director of Operations at the world's largest small boat-building company. He brings with him a wealth of operational expertise, leadership experience, and a sharp focus on improving process efficiency. However, he needs to stop calling vessels boats and get used to calling them ships!
His experience makes him ideally suited to oversee the Project Support functions, and his practical boat-building background enables him to support the Manufacturing and Design Teams."
