In the Latitude and Vista restaurant, we completed extensive work to enhance both the functionality and safety of the space. This included the installation of new foundations for waiter stations, where we carefully removed the existing units, cleaned the area, and installed secure and aligned foundations in compliance with regulations. Additionally, we worked on the flooring by laying a new screed, ensuring that the surface was properly prepared, with even application and smooth transitions for optimal performance.
The flooring also featured a new floating floor system. In what we believe is an industry first in refit, we used a pumped floating floor solution from Weber which eliminated the need for manual handling of steel plates and instead used a pumpable, fiber-reinforced cement-based self-levelling material. This material possesses exceptional strength and flexibility, enabling it to withstand the stress of a moving structure, achieving A-60 classification with a total thickness of just 45mm.
In addition to its exceptional noise and vibration insulation properties, Weber Marine A-60 Floor N Light offers benefits such as reduced weight, installation time, and material cost compared to traditional floating floor types.
