During the extensive 4-week refit, as the main outfitter onboard, the 80-strong Trimline team, consisting of floor layers, decorators, joiners, upholsterers, tilers, electricians, French polishers, welders, and hard surface repairers, successfully completed a complex and extensive refurbishment of the main restaurant (Latitude & Vista). This refurbishment included the installation of an ultra-high-efficiency lighting system that is 15% more efficient than standard LED drivers. The transition to this system results in a yearly reduction of 130 tonnes of CO2.
Considerable deck head replacement took place throughout the area, and the redecoration encompassed double-height columns, wall coverings, and painting, in addition to the installation of new carpeting and floor tiling. Upgrades were made to sockets and light switches, and new electric sun shades were installed along with secondary Roman blinds throughout. The banquette seating underwent reupholstering, and both fixed and loose furniture were replaced.
