The conversion of the former Light Bites Bar and corridor into the new Dallah Café, under contract to MJM Marine, involved extensive structural, aesthetic, and functional updates to enhance the space's appeal and efficiency. The project began with the removal of existing features, including ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and old fixtures. The ceiling was extensively modified with seamless panels and cassette tiles, ensuring both a modern aesthetic and the structural integrity needed for new lighting and mechanical systems. The back bar area underwent significant alterations, including the removal of old shelving units and column casings to prepare for new installations.

New flooring was installed throughout, with screed applied to the entire area before the installation of high-quality tiles in the front section and carpet in the rear. The existing wall finishes were replaced with new bulkhead tiles and vinyl coverings, creating a polished and cohesive look. The bar counter area was particularly focused on, with a new stone counter top and mosaic tiles installed. Additionally, bespoke elements such as new beverage stations and island counters were built to optimise the space's functionality.

The lighting system was also completely overhauled. New lighting fixtures were installed according to the latest design specifications, which included a combination of downlights, feature lights, and LED tape to create an inviting atmosphere while ensuring sufficient illumination. The electrical work also included upgrading power and data points to accommodate the needs of the newly designed space.

Finally, the café was furnished with custom-made fixed furniture, including curved banquette seating and beverage station shelves, carefully designed to complement the modern design. The area was also equipped with soft goods such as curtains and scatter cushions, completing the transformation into a stylish and functional café space
