The Club aboard Seabourn Quest underwent one of the most comprehensive single-venue transformations in the vessel's history. The entire space was stripped back and thoughtfully redesigned, with fixed furniture carefully removed and a substantial volume of loose seating, tables and sofas cleared to make way for an entirely new interior vision. In their place, an extensive suite of new loose furniture was introduced — including lounge chairs, swivel poufs, two-seater sofas and fully reupholstered bar stools — all positioned precisely to the designer's layout, bringing a fresh cohesion to the space.
At the heart of the transformation sits a dramatic new bar installation, featuring a redesigned bar front with integrated lighting, an extended back bar and a striking new bar top finished in a premium stone-effect surface. The back bar shelving was dressed with bespoke decorative items, whilst new curved booth seating on both port and starboard sides was complemented by elegant chain curtains, lending an intimate and considered atmosphere to each setting. Banquette seating across the upper level was reupholstered to the same exacting standard, and a new aft curved banquette was introduced to complete the layout.
Walls throughout the space were refinished with fabric-backed wall coverings and padded sections to the key bulkheads, with column surrounds redecorated to match. A new dropped GRG pelmet was installed above the seating areas, into which existing lighting and speakers were carefully relocated, and sprinkler positions adjusted to comply with safety requirements. New and existing artwork was installed using security fixings, and bespoke scatter cushions, stage sheers and refreshed window dressings were added to bring warmth and texture to the finished interior.
The result is a thoroughly transformed social venue — refined in atmosphere, generous in comfort and unmistakably elevated in quality — befitting Seabourn Quest's reputation for understated luxury at sea.
