The Colonnade aboard Seabourn Quest received a thorough and considered refresh during the 2026 drydock, addressing both the visual character of the space and the functional performance of its service areas. The work touched virtually every surface underfoot, with the existing floor tiles lifted back to a solid substrate, a self-levelling screed applied across the full area, and a new tiled finish laid to the designer's specification — including carefully matched skirting tiles at the host podium and waiter stations, lending the room a cohesive, finished quality throughout.
At the heart of the dining room, six substantial high-table stone tops were carefully removed and replaced with elegantly detailed Calacatta fantastico quartz surfaces. Each top was crafted with a waterfall edge treatment softened by a bullnose profile, bringing a quietly luxurious, contemporary touch to the seating that anchors the space. The existing timber frames were preserved and reused, reflecting a considered approach to both sustainability and quality.
The show galley counters — both long and short — were upgraded to improve the guest-facing dining experience, with new drop-in heated Ceran hotplate units installed and supporting structural steelwork, ceiling panels and gantry lighting addressed as part of the works. The cold counter island was similarly reworked, with new stainless-steel gantries and extended angled glass sneeze screens replacing the previous configuration, and fresh counter-front tiling completing the look. New sheer window treatments to the starboard side add a light, airy finish to the space, rounding out a transformation that is as practical as it is polished.
